Anybody have experience with this tire in 160/80B-16?  its OD is  26.10 and tread depth is 11/32, which is more than the elite 3 radial (26.06 OD, TD 10/32) however, the width is only 6.10, about 1 inch narrower.
Thinking it might be a better match with the bias D404 on the front.
Thoughts?

thanks

Im no tire jeeeneous but if you already have a bias ply up front, it would seem to make sense as long as its rated for the weight.  If its under rated it could leave you stranded with a tread seperation

weight rating is 992 lbs for the GL1500,  The E3 radial is rated 910 lbs for the valkyrie 180/70R-16 size.

Keep in mind you could always elect to try riding on the darkside!

decided against the C/T. Too many poor old roads/hwys in my area with the tractor trailer tire ruts in the road.  A C/T would just make riding a lot worst then it is now.
