Grumpy,
So sorry to hear about your accident. Glad to hear you'll be ok and that it wasn't any worse. As a person who's "been there and done that", ya did good to put it down like you did. That's a heck of a speed to walk away from. Don't worry too much about the bike cuz it can be fixed or replaced.

Heal fast!

You have the prayers of so many nice VRCC members and I will add mine. Its hard to be thankful when you are feeling like youdo , but I just had a terrible infection in my spine and needed spine surgery. The main thing is that I lived and lots of people cheering me on as do you.  I lost a very wonderful friend 2 years ago from the Voai and I still feel that pain every day. Be thankful that you are here and can get a new Valk. Thank God there are so many V twin lovers and the supply of Valks has not been cut too short as of yet :-) Hope you had good insurance but most important, that you heal well with minimal pain. God Bless

I never like hearing the word " down " when motorcycles are involved. Hope you heal fast and it sounds like you are a lucky man to hit the asphalt at 65 mph and walk away...Ride On  cooldude
I totaly agree with the words posted by SmokinJoe.  Very glad you survived but sorry you gave up some of your flesh.  Praying for your speedy recovery.  I hope the Valk isn't too bad.  But like Joe said "Ride On"!!!!

Prayers for speedy recovery from the desert.
I have a friend who says if he ever catches me riding without a hat he's gonna wear me out.
Even though he lives 400 miles away, I know if I do, it will be a day he surprises me with a visit.
Lovin me them full face sweat boxes in the 100+ degree days.
The arguments are allways gonna be topical.
