● President Obama would like the House to vote on his healthcare plan on either St. Patrick's Day or the day after. That means Congress will be voting on healthcare either when they're drunk, or when they're hung over.

He wants those dates because if a congressman is not there to vote...then it is an automatic "YES Vote" on their part.

After re-reading my post I can see your what you meant on your comment.
I should of clarified a little more. The Democrats that are for this bill, will be there in force on a holiday to vote yes. This means any of the republicans that doesn't show to vote is like a yes vote for the democrats. That is Obama's reason for wanting it on those dates.
