Maybe we should have brought Jet Skis! Smiley

We actually rode yesterday before the rains hit and are planning a ride for tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon.  Old Geezer Richard and Lisa are meeting us at FM2673 & River Road in Sattler at the Valero.  No Times or route set, but send me a PM or call 512-422-8636 if your in the area.

Well, the skies cleared and we got a little ride in!  Met up with Old Geezer Richard and Lisa in Sisterdale at the Sister Creek Winery:

Lisa and Dena:

Yours truly trying not to crack the lens on the camera:

Old Geezer and Lisa road on to Luckenbach to try and meet up with Laser Pat and Texas Deb...Dena and I headed over to Gruene to meet up with family.  I spoke with Laser Pat later and we figured we'd be able to share the wind on another day.

One thing is for sure - FM473 from HWY281 over to Sisterdale is about as pretty and fun as a ride can get. cooldude

You know, that's a great idea. cooldude  There's plenty of wineries in this area with great roads to boot.  I'll look at how to put together a fun route.

By the way, Sister Creek Winery was not shy with their tasting pours and after the first two wines I was just sipping only the tiniest amount and then pouring the rest out. Shocked  In Gruene we had another tasting only after a big dinner at the Grist Mill...nevertheless, a limited number of winery stops per day would be best! coolsmiley
