Has anyone installed a taller windshield to help keep wind off the passenger? I am 5' 10" and she is 5' 6". How did your passenger like the change?
Thanks

I have a showchrome on my interstate that is two inches taller than stock and 4inches wider on each side than stock. I'm 6'3" and she's 5'10"  no problems at all. I can just see over it while sitting on an ultimate big boy and she has an ultimate also. I also have bakers and lower deflectors to control wind.

+1 on the larger showchrome windshield.  I am 6'5" and have no problem seeing over the top.  If necessary.  Don't like the stock size.  Don't have bakers yet but on my list.

I've had the Tulsa which is +6" from stock. I couldn't see over it in the rain. Now have a Clearview +2 over stock and 5"wider. Both worked fine for the passenger. Baker airwings help keep alot of wind from the passenger too.

I put a Lamanar Lip on my stock windscreen, I noticed a small reduction on buffeting (the reason I put it on) but my girlfriend said she couldn't believe how much less wind she experienced. I'm 6'4" and have a Big Boy seat.

I am 6'3" and have an Ultimate King Big Boy seat, and it does present a little problem when it is raining as I really can't see over it.  But that is so seldom, that the improvement for me and my wife is worth it.  I tried the other brands, just weren't tall enough for me.

I have a tulsa, the tall one, on my I/S. I purchased it because I was getting "patted" on the head/helmet with the stock windshield. Have to stretch to see over it but I like some additional protection between me and road debree. As far as a passenger, buffeting was reduced too.

What is the actual measurement of the stock I/S windshield if measured from the top edge of the silver "garnish" to the top edge of the windshield??

I interpret that measurment (15 1/2) to be from bottom edge to top edge of windshield as measured with the stock windshield dismounted or trim removed.  I have never removed the trim, how far does it extend below the top edge of the plastic trim?

OE IS shield is 15.5" in total length (height)..... only appx. 1/2 inch is below the garnish and used to mount the shield.
