Geico came through on the bike, replacing every thing that is damaged, Fairing, engine guards, saddlebags, pegs and so on,and lots more stuff. Found out their figure for total is 80% of book value plus accessories. So I came out good, got a check today for 5499.66 for the repairs. Looks like the bike will be on the road about the same time I am able to ride. I am starting to feel a lot better, still pretty sore but improving daily.

Excellent news Grumpy, with a little shopping around hopefully you will come out ahead on the deal.

I guess you will have to spend your "downtime" over at Parkesdale Farms eating those famous strawberry shortcakes until you are able to ride again!
