From The London Times:
A Well-Planned Retirement
[cid:BCF7B8D078284A48ADE40AEFFB605800@D3B7VS51]
Outside England's Bristol Zoo there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 buses. For 25 years, its parking fees were managed by a very pleasant attendant. The fees were 1 for cars ($1.40), 5 for buses (about $7).

Then, one day, after 25 solid years of never missing a day of work, he just didn't show up; so the Zoo Management called the City Council and asked it to send them another parking agent.

The Council did some research and replied that the parking lot was the Zoo's own responsibility. The Zoo advised the Council that the attendant was a City employee.. The City Council responded that the lot attendant had never been on the City payroll.

Meanwhile, sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain or France or Italy ... is a man who'd apparently had a ticket machine installed completely on his own and then had simply begun to show up every day, commencing to collect and keep the parking fees, estimated at about $560 per day -- for 25 years.

Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over $7 million dollars ...... and no one even knows his name.

I think this is my favorite E-Mail ever!

That is one of the best. I'm sad it dosent hold up to snopes apparently. I read this a few years ago and really rooted for the guy. Genius, pure and simple. Either way.

Why is it that Mr. Snopes gets to say what is true and what is not true.

I snoped Snopes and it is not listed on Snopes as well.

So I guess Snopes is a figment of our collective universe.

By the way still sober and no plans to change that.

No snopes on that decision either.

Maybe the story is not true but I like the way the author thinks.

What we see is not always the way it is.

What we think is so point of perspective at the moment.

What is truth,,,, really,,,,,,,,,,, at any one time.

Witness testimony is usually very unreliable due to our different points of view.

Junior that is me in the Picture acting  like Mr. Universe with a new Tatto.

Shoulda known SmokinJoe would make me infamous.

I still don't know what's funnier, Gordon Pointing at me wiht that look on his face or me, posing

in that strange manor.

But you know what it was a bunch of fifty year old guys having fun out on the motorcycle life

style.

No apologies from me, By the way fell asleep while getting this tattoo(Harley) and the tattoo

guy , Eric said he was about to call 911due to the fact he saw that I was not breathing for long periods of time.

Went to the sleep clinic and they said I had one of the worst casses of sleep apnea they had seen in a long time.

CPAP for life and to stay alive , getting old ain't for sissies.
