Anyone know this guy from London ?????

I'm a little suspicious and so researching before I draw conclusions. Recieved an email from someone about the wanted ad I have in the classifieds for a Honda front fender guard (still waiting for that pic of yours Mike). What's interesting is he says he's mark from London, but his info at the end of the email says Greg ????? Thoughts or does anyone know him. I just emailed back asking if he was a member here and to send pics and his asking price. Email follows:

ANOTHER GIVEAWAY IS THAT THE STREET NUMBER IS FOR DEBENHAMS. A large department store. I love the internet

Same thoughts here, just REALLY want the fender guard and was hoping someone would say, " yeah, he's a great guy and a member here. I recently bought a set of cobra pipes for $75 plus he shipped for free."  Oh well ............ moving on. Thanks, Dave

Did you also notice that he never mentions the item you are specifically talking about by name? Just talks about "it", etc. Sounds like a general email he can blanket send to many...

I am sure this is a scam.

Well let's see, you refer to the item I am looking for as it or the item as if you have no idea what "it" is, you want the money by western union or money gram, have no postal code, can't spell, can't send a picture and haven't answered my question about whether you are a member on the forum. That is a Scam, in Germany it has been going around like wildfire, this crew sets up the "Cant resist" deals and then when it comes to payment you will get an email from a third party in which they will tell you where the closest Western Union to you is and request you to send payment, and you never see your parts, and it all comes out of England (???). They love doing this with Motorcycles and cars. I know two people who have fallen for it even though they knew something was wrong, but sent the money anyway. Europol is working these guys trying to catch them but as far as I know the scam is still running. Big in Ebay.

My suggestion is to leave it alone.
