Just curious what riding impressions you had, and thought of it.
Saw one in Johnson City at IZ8 or DOTS (can't remember which).  thought it looked pretty cool and their touring model looks interesting.

Doc, I rode the standard model. Braking  and cornering was a little strange. I don't think it would take long to get used to it. Lots of pickup. Overall a nice vehicle. I did sit on the new tourer. Looked great and sat more upright than the original. I hear gas mileage is poor. The luggage latches on the tourer were cheap. Overall a fun ride.

Looks like they have some newer versions with trailers from the factory.

I rode LaMonster's up on The Dragon soon after he bought it. Ever rode a 4-wheeler ? It's like that only faster and smoother. I thought it was a cool ride however the price tag they ask for them ...I really don't see it  Undecided

I was in my local Honda shop a few days ago, and they sell the CanAm in there...the new Tourer was in the $25,000.00 neighborhood....I have more storage in my Valk than what is available in the bags and trunk on the Tourer model....They do look like they might be fun though....

Guilty I do sometimes cheat on the Valks. First of all I want to say the Spyder is not a Valk and never will be, however it is a very fun machine at according to my seat of the pants dyno is almost as fast as the Valk. Like Joe said they are about like riding a really really fast 4wheeler once you get your body english right they will probably out corner the Valk. Like any thing new they are still working out a few bugs and if you read the forums you might be scared off however only the ones who do have problems are the ones speaking up and I believe there is a hypocrondric effect going on.  Beat site I've found is Spyderlovers.com and I go by the same handle there. Like this site there is some great and helpful people there and Lamonster who runs the site is a former Valker. The best thing about the Spyder is it is stable on wet roads and can even be rode in some ice and snow.

Lamont said that on the Dragon, his Spyder was so stable, it was almost boring.

I test rode the original and thought it was very interesting. Lots of power, stable, great brakes. I did not like the steering effort required to hold a line in a corner, especially considering that it has power steering. The price is very competitive when you compare it to triking a Goldwing or Harley, in fact I thought it was a bargain. As far as poor milage, I don't think we Valk owners have much to say there. I would compare it to a snowmobile with wheels myself.

I rolled on with one on I35 in Kansas yesterday, I started in 2nd gear, shifted at 6000 rpm, 20 or so to 100, beat him by 2 bike (trike?) lengths.. Wouldn't mind owning a RT model, for haulin the missus. I bet it does a good job of towing that optional trailer.  Hoser  cooldude
