Safe journey, Clint.  Hope you decie to replace eventually, If I hadn't sold the IS last fall, You would be very welcome to it's use so you could take your time searching, and not missing the Rallys.  Thump, thump, that's the sound of me kicking my own A$$!  Hoser

Just thought I would give an update on my condition.  I am doing real well.  The abrasions are healing nicely and only using a bandage on the one on my knee, but it was the deepest and progressing nicely.  The ribs are still sore when I move certain ways or strain with my left arm, but they are definitely getting better.

I bought another camper like the one I had and am going to continue with my summer plans but will be pulling the camper with my car instead.  I'm not looking for a bike just yet, I am going to wait until I get all healed up and get settled with the insurance company first.  Also got so many plans to see my grandkids on the West Coast and still make it to Inzane that my schedule is full.

I am leaving for Vancouver BC next weekend.  Sure wish I could do it on a new Valkyrie but would have difficulty with the ribs if I got off balance at the slower speeds, so don't want to risk making them worse and prolong the healing process.

I am anxious to see everyone at Inzane.

Looking forward to meeting you too.  This "old" body may take a little longer to heal, but i found out that this "old" body was a lot tougher than I though it was. Shocked

Clint, stop by my house when you come to town, you can stop by my house and follow me to Stude's, it's at the end of a dead end street, so he can't escape even if he sees us coming.  It's real easy to find, if he tells you the correct address.  He can't be trusted to do that, though.  I make it a policy to never trust anyone under forty!   Grin hoser

Glad to hear you are getting better.   Live in Palm Desert and have been by site of your accident a number of times.  Scary story, I'm watching for sleeping drivers.  I am new to VRCC and recently got '97 Tourer, 12,000 miles and great condition.

I agree...

My ex father in law went down on his 06 Goldwing last week.  He lives in southwest missouri and was riding back from Grand Lake (NE Oklahoma) and wasn't paying attention and was messing with his trip meter and approached a curve that he wasn't anticipating and he crashed.  Good thing for him was that it was raining and he was wearing jeans.  Glad he is okay and he just got bruised up.  Clint's deal was much more intense but sure glad you and my ex inlaw are doing well... Keep that attitude Clint.  cooldude
