Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Another day room in London.  Well, I have always been a Sherlock Holmes freak - ever since I was a kid.  Read every book multiple times.  Saw the movie twice on the plane coming back from Holland and since I only have a day in London, watched it again on the way over here.  The movie was OK - not the best done I have ever seen but I did think Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law did a great job of how they portrayed Holmes and Watson.  Fresh approach and I thought it was well done - portrayal wise.

Then, again since I only have a day here, took the tube to....yep, you guessed it.

Right outside the tube station they have a statue of the "Great Detective".  Sorry about the quality of the photos but I had to take them from my iPhone.

Strolled down the road about 2 blocks to yep, you guessed it again, 221B Baker Street.

There is even a historical plaque at 221B Baker Street.

I am not a huge fan of paying to go inside of anything, but I am a huge fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyal's characters, so I did this time.

Not worth paying to get into if you ever go, but cool none the less....

Then I went to this great Pub across from the Baker Street Tube Station - The Globe.

And my search for the ultimate fish and chips is over now.  I asked the girl what was best and she said the fish and chips - delivered daily and hand prepared.  Folks, it was AWESOME.  Best I have had in London and I have had F&C like every time I have been through almost.  It truely was the best yet.

Then as I was going back to the tube station, I saw this sign for Tuna Massages.  I figured, HECK YEAH!  I guess I could dig being whooped with a wet fish for 30 minutes.  Went inside and asked for the Tuna Massage.  No, no Tuna - Tuina!!!  So, you ain't gonna whip me with a wet fish?  NO!  Then I am outta here.

Safe winds folks!!!  See ya on the flip flop.  Man, and I sure was looking forward to that wet fish whoopin'.....bummer.

Strider - you ever sit down and figure out many miles are on that youthful body of yours?

Between always being out of the country and not staying put when you are here - its got to be a lot.

I know you won't believe me, and I know how tough it is being away from home and family for so long at a time, but I'm incredibly envious of you and your job.... Seriously...

Safe travels!
