I have the date for the Second Annual A.A.R.R.G. (Adirondack Americade Rib Ride and Greet) set for Friday, June 11th. Will be meeting, like last year, at the Howard Johnsons parking lot, Rt. 9, just south of Lake George Village, NY, south of this years ground zero for Americade. The run will take about 6 hours (depending on the speed of the group) and travels through New York and Vermont almost to the New Hampshire border. We will be riding through some of the most picturesque and historic parts of both states as the area had made significant contributions to our battle of independence during the Revolutionary war. Along the way, we will also be traveling along some of the most pleasant roads in the area, offering many long sweeping turns along with wonderful vistas. If the group wants, we can make a short 3 mile detour into New Hampsire, making this a three state tour. Lunch will be at Curtis BBQ, Putney VT, the self proclaimed 8th wonder of the world, offering southern style BBQ Ribs, chicken and pulled pork. This is a weather permitting ride. Feel free to contact me for further information.
