I have the date for the Second Annual A.A.R.R.G. (Adirondack Americade Rib Ride and Greet) set for Friday, June 11th.  Will be meeting, like last year, at the Howard Johnsons parking lot, Rt. 9, just south of Lake George Village, NY, south of this years ground zero for Americade.
The run will take about 6 hours (depending on the speed of the group) and travels through New York and Vermont almost to the New Hampshire border.  We will be riding through some of the most picturesque and historic parts of both states as the area had made significant contributions to our battle of independence during the Revolutionary war.  Along the way, we will also be traveling along some of the most pleasant roads in the area, offering many long sweeping turns along with wonderful vistas.  If the group wants, we can make a short 3 mile detour into New Hampsire, making this a three state tour.
Lunch will be at Curtis BBQ, Putney VT, the self proclaimed 8th wonder of the world, offering southern style BBQ Ribs, chicken and pulled pork.
This is a weather permitting ride.  Feel free to contact me for further information.

Hey glad to see the tradition continues  I will be there with Gman and we are always up for a ride thru the bodacious countryside in those parts.

Hope Bigd, 3W and Chrome see this as that could be a real fun day  They will be based in Berlin VT  Is that along your route give or take?

I had been planning on Friday around 10-11 to meet up with my friend Pierre from Montreal at the Valk judging area of the Roaring Brook ranch and then do my riding, What time were you going to be AOB and what route from Lake George so we can catch up if need be,

Det please face any direction except north east on that day  Thanks

Unless I'm looking at the wrong place, Berlin VT is way up north in Vt. by Barre.  I'm hoping I'm wrong as its a ride from there to Americade.  Planned route is Rt 22 to Bennington, hooking up with RT 9 across Vermont then rt 5 north to Putney.  Hope this helps.  Last year we rode on Saturday I recall, but due to a friend having a poker run for disabled vets I wont be able to do the AARG saturday.  I know the Valc judging is Friday, and hope this does not ruin any plans for anybody.
