Had to finish the garden

Built 4 raised beds  4 by 8 and  3 beds 2 by 8 for the boss.

Here is a pic looking toward the house.

all plants organic and started from seed.  The soil is a mix of course vermiculite, organic compost from the Rockefeller Stone Barns and peat moss.

So far we have 4 kinds of lettuce, beets, 3 kinds of tomatoes, cucumber, red and hot peppers, eggplants, radishes, bush and pole beans, zucchini and who knows what else.  She is doing what is called square foot gardening so she can rotate crops in and out of the 32 spots in each of the big beds  On the right side is a tilled area where more squash and zucchini will be growing and also melons

Her herb gardens (echimnacea, mullein, plantain etc) are in front of the porch and on the other side of the garage.

Fence is to keep the dogs out not the deer

Gonna be eatin some fresh veggies  this summer yeah
