Southern Indyanner Fish Fry 2009

Date 12-13 June, 2009
Place: Corydon, Indyanner
Hotel:

Super 8 Corydon
168 Pacer Drive
Corydon, IN 47112
(812) 738-8887‎
$54.93/night

The Southern Indyanner Fish Fry is a simple little get together, nothing fancy.  Just meeting up with friends, riding and food.  Folks who came last year say they had a good time and were surprised at the quality of the riding we have here.

RSVP: Let us know if you are planning to come so we can be sure the fish and turkey fry will be all you can!

Hotel/restaurants: None of the local hotels have lounges so we just take over the breakfast area where we stay. BYOB.  There is a restaurant with a bar in stumbling distance to the hotel and there are several eateries very near.

T-shirts: Ain’t got none.

ITINERARY: Our schedule will be very packed this year so be aware of the times for activities and please be prompt. (As we get closer to the ride I'll have a better idea of times.)

Friday, June 12: Folks ride in.  Lies are told.  We go eat dinner at our favorite BBQ joint.  The manager rides and I’m trying to get him to come join us on Saturday. Head back to the hotel. Tell lies.

Saturday, June 13: Get up some time and eat breakfast.  Go for ride. Eat lunch somewhere.  Come back to the hotel.  Go for ride.  Eat as much catfish and turkey as we can stand. Ride back to the hotel.  Tell lies.

Sunday, June 14:  Get up some time before noon.  Say goodbye.  Head out.

I know but the date was set so we will just have to make do.  It is going to be a very small crowd this year but there is always next year.

Will discuss the ride with the Mrs.  Hope we can make it.  I don't know her schedule.  I could ride in myself. 2funny  Uh, on second thought. . . . I'll check it out.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

It's still on!  it won't be as big as last year but the size don't matter.

I have been a little remiss in not keeping the thread at the top but things have been a little rough her for a few weeks.  Looking forward to seeing everyone!

The turkey will be there! I just have to remember how to read a thermomter.  uglystupid2

The manager of our favorite BBQ joint is supplying the catfish so I won't have to drive halfway to New Orleans to get some this year.
