Psycho drove out on the 13th and stayed with us until the 20th. He went to an antique store with mom, dad, Jaedyn, and Kenna - and brought home a Donald Duck bank, some comic books, and a bamboo flyrod. We went to the mall

and about every Wal-Greens and Wal-Mart in town in search for a pair of toe socks for F6Gal (which we finally ended up finding about 9 pairs)
Then we ATE.

Misfit made some fried chicken and we had a watermelon for dessert!

But what Psycho (or as we call him, Grampa) did the most while he was here was spoil his newest grandbaby. You hardly ever saw him NOT holding her.

That baby got SPOILED. Whenever she was fussy, he'd take her and in a second she would be calmed down. Even mom gave her to him once or twice when Emie was mad.

...But, the week ended and it was time for him to get back home, so the next Thursday morning (the 20th) he headed out. But that night, we got to pick up Motomama from the airport, because she was staying with us for the weekend! She even made chicken tacos with her pineapple-mango salsa and peanut butter fudge swirl pie for dessert!

She even brought along some toe-socks for all of us girls to wear (and even Chase for a while Smiley )

And then we went golfing! Harper got a hole - in - one on the very first hole, and Chase got one too.

She may have even done a little spoiling herself.....

Then time was up, and before we knew it she had to get back home too. It was sad to say bye, but it's not so bad knowing there's only a few days in between the "bye's" and "hi's" (Tucumcari!!)

Even with 8 people in the house, it seems quieter without either of them here. But I'm glad that they got to come out and I know we all had a ton of fun and are really looking forward to seeing them again!

For some reason it always seems quieter, almost a let down, when the company leaves.

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend.

By the way, how is 'Dad' doing?  Have not heard a report in awhile.

Dad's doing really good. He's been riding a couple times and working on his bike a lot. He has a bit of a limp from when he broke his leg, but other than that he's getting around like normal! They still have to operate on his knee, but he's been putting it off as long as possible... He's very stubborn and hard-headed. He's really looking forward to Tucumcari. The last week of waiting is the hardest, but there is plenty to keep us busy until it gets here! Smiley
