Well boys & girls...........I took early retirement in "06" from P&G after 25 yrs. Been doing a little contract engr./design and home remodeling work since then. Two weeks ago I found this job, sent them my resume, got a phone interview, then a face to face and today....job offer.Ck. out the web site, I am so excited about the chance to be involved with this, I can't wait until my start date. (June 16th) I'm gonna get in a few rides between now & then.

This place can create a class 4 hurricane inside the facility. Create 8" of rain in one hour as well as fires, hail storms. they can sit 9 1500sq.ft. homes inside the building and blow/burn/flood/shake/beat hell out of them. Thats 105...300 hp fans on one end.

Right on brother.

Nothing like having a job that you'd do for FREE!

They should have given us a call.  We can do 300 mph winds from -65 degrees F to +165 degrees F......and we can fit a full sized C-5a Galaxy aircraft in our chamber....and run it's engines......inside.....at any given test temp.

Can they do icing certifications for the FAA?  We can.

Can they do blowing rain?  We can.

Can they do solar testing?  We can.

Can they do snow....blowing snow?  We can.

Can they run full scale aircraft engines at full AB and at military.......and while controlling a given temp?  We can.

 Wink

btw.....It looks like a cool facility.  Seriouisly.  Congrats on the new job.   cooldude

I think I saw this place on the news, or something like it. That would be fun.

Are you going to be building the test homes that they are going to play with and terrorize?

Best thing is.............I will be part of a group working to protect you/your home/your business/your family from natural disaster by improving building codes/building methods and fortify existing. Might even lower your insurance. Smiley
