The Gulf Region is now officailly in Ruin. No one is doing a Damn Thing with the spill. Such a shame and should be a National Emergency, but Obama is hosting a dinner for Paul McCartney this weekend. Much more important. If this was under ole Bush's Watch , he would be tarred and feathered by the Media. Now do you see the danger we are in. We all Should.

I dont think BRITISH PETROLEUM wants the leak to continue at all. However, even their CEO doesnt seem to have a grasp.....hes made statements like......this is a vast ocean and the relitively small amount of oil should be that bad............IDIOT. No I dont expect the White House to do anything, this administration doesnt care about America, they hate the free market and capitolism, and probably seafood......so why should they start doing anything now.
Saudi Arabia had a larger spill than this that they were able to suck up with oil tankers. I suppose it would be too much to ask "president" Obama to use some of his influence (if he has any) to see if the Saudis could have lended a hand..........BUT, I dont want to armchair quaterback it..........I dont know what has been tried or not..........I think if that was tried we would have heard about it over and over and over and over and over......well ok, you get my point.
One of his Administrations policy is never to let a good crisis go to waste.
What our "president" doesnt get (have) is the American Spirit........(possibly because he may not be one, but thats besides the point)
The American Spirit is this.........Do everything, not only what can be done, but what "cant be done" WE FIND A WAY! when its America we are defending. When its America "president" Obama is tearing down, appologizing for, and fundamentally changing so his wife can now be proud of her country for the first time I fail to see how he could just shift gears to do what would be required to make an impact here.............
He needs IMPEACHING.....lets not let this crisis go to waste

I went to BP's site on what their doing to contain the oil spill. They're testing their equipment first. I propose they build a super shop vac. The pipe from which the oil is spewing is 21" dia. Make a bell shaped end attached to a 24" flexible suction line, lower it over the pipe, suck it up. There should be a pump out there somewhere with the capacity to pump the needed capacity and load it onto tankers. It could actually pay for itself by recovering the spewing oil.
BP is going to try to insert one tube to suck oil while the other spews a mixture heavy enough to try to plug it long enough to seal it with concrete. In the meantime, the LA coast is getting the worst of it. The spill has even affected the Panhandle of FL with nervous vacationers cancling plans. Businesses along the coast are putting off making upgrades, etc. in fear of the spill reaching their shores causing them to potentially lose big time.

Being born in a American Hospital on a Island 2500 miles from America tech. makes him OBAMA an American. ORielly serched this out and found the birth announcement in a Haiwaiian Newspaper. So no claim of him not being born in America can stick Leagally. He is not however one of us as we are Americans by birth, raising , struggle,and Identity. He is a community organizer, aka Trouble maker. Forcing banks to make bad loans to people that cannot repay them. This puts him right up there with the people that caused the banks and lending institutions to fail. He is culpable in this matter. He will also be found culpable in the matter of Joe Sestak being Bribed to get out of the race in Pennsylvania. This was done because the Repub. Cnadidate is stronger than Sestak in that state and Sestak will lose to this Repub. Chicago politics at it's best. Look for an investigation that will hamstring Obama for his remaining days in the White House. They have him now and this may minimize the damage he was going to inflict on the country, this country that I, I frankly love and would defend if it came to it, with my life if need be.

You can submit a proposed technical solutions, here is how you do it:
BP has a process to receive and review technical proposals, termed Alternative Response Technologies (ARTs), on how to stop the flow of oil or contain the spill emanating from the Mississippi Canyon 252 well.
Proposals are reviewed for their technical feasibility and proof of application. All proposals that initiate through the process established below will receive a response. Failure to follow the process below will likely delay proposed solutions from being reviewed.
1. Inbound calls received: Inbound calls for proposed technical solutions are received through the Houston Hotline +1-281-366-5511. Nearly 4,000 ideas have been proposed to date. Given the thousands of technical proposals suggested by industry professionals and the public, it may take some time to technically review each one.
2. Form sent to caller: Caller contact information is collected and input into the Horizon Call Center database, which then automatically sends the caller a simple ART form to provide details.
3. Caller completes/submits form: When the caller completes and submits this form, the proposal is sent to technical personnel for review.
4. Proposal is reviewed: Proposals are reviewed for technical feasibility and application.
5. Replies sent to contact: A reply is sent via email or fax to each caller from Horizon Support informing the caller of the technical review outcome. Replies will fit into the following categories:
Not Possible or Not Feasible in these Conditions
Already Considered/Planned
Feasible
6. Feasible solutions forwarded: Callers whose ideas are considered feasible will be advised by email that we will contact them if and when their support is needed.

Why is it that when it is voting time, everyones political view is to cut the budget, cut taxes, shrink government, etc....... then every time some sort of disaster happens, natural or man made, everyone wants the government to resolve it. When do people like you speak out about the responsibility of those who caused the disaster?
I hate to say it, but it really gets old listening to people complain about the government, and unfortunately, I am one of them. I guess I have to resolve to stop participating in the discussions. Governments, by nature, are problematic. Businesses, by nature, are problematic. Humans, by nature, are problematic. As I see it, of the three, humans are the only ones who can correct this stuff. And they are the only ones who cause it.

I agree, we as citizens are suppose to keep watch over the Gov. to make sure they don't screw up and if they do we should use the vote or more to let them know we are unhappy. Wasn't it Thomas Jefferson who said a little rebellion every once in a while is good for demaocracy? And as a represenative for the people, Gov. is suppose to keep their eye on business. The last few adminestrations on both sides have been very cozy with big business. My point is you can blame everyone on this one, I believe the technology is present to advert this type of spill, the problem is BP would have had tp pay for it before the problem. If all companies did that they would pass the cost on to consumers. Not sure the American public is in favor of that. So the Gulf suffers while everyone tries to figure it out. |

In Reality, not the imaginary history some have concocted, he was raised by a single (white) mother who died of cancer when he was 12, and then raised by his (white) grandparents. Ends up the editor of the Harvard Law Review, and a professor of US constitutional history...yeah, what a jerk eh?
You sure have a narrow interpretation of what Americans are. Some would say your narrow interpretation is un-American in itself.

I have made my point and stand by it. he is nothing but a LONG LEGGED MACK DADDY who by the way got all these loans to attend most of his higher education on a Foriegn Student Loan Program. his fathers sister states unequivocally that he was born in Kenya, that ain't Gerogia that's Africa. I was being easy on him until someone defended him. Big AL I love you all, thanks for putting up with me. All his other records have been sealed away as if there is somthing to hide. There is enough evidence to oust him right now. Big AL He needs to watch this and then if he was honest he would change his American hating Ways. Mr/ Obama watch this Please.

Also, I don't think it's safe to put your cabinets in the middle of hwy 129. Even a few small specs of gravel on that road can cause serious accidents, I can't imagine running into a full sized cabinet. |

It is sickening all who do not have a respirator on for the pollutants involved.
