I have never seen F6 leather bags before...
A new Valk owner here in Norway emailed me these pictures, and he need the left side chrome rail between the fender and the sidebag. Do this rail come with the saddlebags? Where should I start looking?

Thanks!!!

I seem to remember Honda did offer a factory set of leather saddlebags as a factory accessory back in the day... Don't remember 'em having the logo stamped into 'em, but definitely a possibility... It's a long shot, but I've got an original catalog of Honda factory accessories from back in the day, I'll see if I can find it (But don't hold your breath waiting on that, unfortunately... I haven't seen it in years.)

Dag, I think the grab rail is/was Rivco... not related to the saddlebags, related to their centerstand.

Yep, Rivco made that grabrail.  Still available as of several months ago when they made a special run of centerstands and rails.  I've seen some listed on Ebay within the past 2 months or so.  Maybe Big Mike can hook you up.

If memory serves me right, the factory Valkyrie bags were made by Auburn Leather.

The US model (which I bought when my '99 was new) said Valkyrie on the embossed part.  The F6C must have been made for the Euro models.

The European tank emblems are also F6C and do not say Valkyrie. I would assume those are the same bags as the factory leather bags, but with the European F6C logo

Yes, the original Hondaline leather saddlebags were made by Auburn Leather and had three buckles, kinda a pain to unbuckle ..

I  also concour that is a Rivco grab rail.  If I remember right, the left side rail only came with the centerstand for yanking it up & you could get the right side as an option.  Also, they were sold individually as they make excellent bungie cord anchors for carrying stuff on the passenger seat.  Really has nothing to do with the sabblebag.

Just had a thought - If someone had installed a centerstand complete with both rails, then later removed & sold it, the left rail would have to have gone with the stand to make it operatable.  Could have just ignored the right side & left it on.  (?)

No,  I bought my centerstand without either grabrail.  I bought those separately from Rivco when they made that special run I mentioned.  You seldom see a stand for sale with the rail on ebay or the classified VRCC page.  You occasionally see the rails for sale though.  If'n I remember, the cost of the 2 rails new from Rivco was $100.
