While on a ride this week I noticed a rough feel if bike move to left---not as i moved to right.  I tried a straight road and some weaves right-left-right-left ect.  Rough feel came and went as wheel load changed directions.  Is this a wheel bearing----not sure how a bad wheel bearing acts/feels??   Thanks

My '97 Tourer does the same thing and it's just the brake rotors on one side lightly scraping when they're forced to the side from the side pressure on the tire while turning. It would probably go away if I did a little R&R work on the calipers.

If you don't have a bike lift you can use a scissor jack [w/a block of wood] under the engine [forward] to lift the front wheel enough while it's on the side stand to rotate it.
You won't be able to duplicate the load forces but it might help determine where it's coming from.

Could the noise be coinciding with a recent tire change / wheel R&R?
