I told the wife around 6:30 I was going to put gas in the valk and go for some coffee. I arrived at the gas station and went in to pay. When I walk out to the bike there were four guys looking at the lady. After fielding questions for 30 minuets rode over to star bucks and got my drink. Came out to sit outside and there were two older gentlemen pointing and looking at the valk.  After they left a tour bus pulled in for the restaurant next door. I must have had 20 people ask me about the bike. I even had people taking photos of her. Got up to leave and the question just kept coming my way. Well, after all this went on I finally rode in the driveway around 9:30 last night. I will have owned this bike 6 years as of the 6th of June this year, and I have never owned something that draws more question and comments than the Valkyrie.  cooldude cooldude

I know what you mean Bill. Today I was at my girlfriends house taking the cover off of my bike when an older gentleman stopped his truck and got out just to ask me about the Valk. At the store on Saturday I came out and was putting on my gear when a guy in a truck rolls his window down and asks "got enough Chrome on that thing". I said yea. He than said nice bike. Even though the Valks are up to 13 years old now and 7 years out of production they still attract a lot of attention.

I occasionally ride with a local motorcycle group that consists of every type of rider from crotch rocket to cruiser, beginner to...well, let's just say "a lot of miles".  Anyway, every time I pull up to a meeting, I'll have three to four guys asking me questions about the Valk before I can get my helmet off! Wink It's just crazy!

FYI,  I was at my Honda dealer the other day and they are literally praying for Honda to come out with a big cruiser.  The new mid-size line is experiencing flat sales and the VTX line is about sold out.  "Everyone else is going bigger, so Honda has to be coming out with something" is what the salesman mused.  I'm not holding my breath, but could Honda be working on a new Valkyrie-like cruiser? ???
