Looking for side chrome for radiator ,like on the standard.
I am not talking about the screen cover,,side and top covers,,I have searched internet, no luck.

I have a Interstate and want to remove side pods.

They're OEM parts. Check out #'s 19 & 20 here: http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=148497&category=MOTORCYCLES&make=HONDA&year=2003&fveh=3472

You should double check the part numbers & model years for your I/S. Also, check the numbers for the I/S & standard radiators as well. It is quite possible the mounting tabs for the covers/pods are different between the two models.

The rubber heat shield under the radiator,,,does it tuck back under the radiator??

Mine sticks out where you can see it when looking at the front of radiator..

What you are seeing is the air guide.  And no, you can't tuck it in.  You will have to change it out for one for a Std.  It is quite a chore.  Tank and air box have to come off and the runners taken off the carbs, and then move them back as far as they will go.  It directs the hot air into the pods. 

I done the opposite...put pods on the Std that my wife rides.  Takes a lot of the heat away from the rider.  My wife loves them.
