Paladin set up + interstate trunk

Hi All,
        Have had a thought (rare I grant you) is it possible for the paladin quick set up or something like it ..that could be used with the Interstate trunk.. I'm thinking I would like the best of three worlds.. I'm saying I would like to be able to remove the sissy bar.. and replace bit with the trunk or have none at all.. has anyone done this mod..is it possible to interchange at a whim.. I would like to have that choice.. recall

Recall...  You can do the 'Super Valk' mod, ala Big BF (http://bigbf.com/bigbf_shop/mod_i-s_trunk/ ), but being able to replace with the sissy bar, is another story.  The Standard and Tour, use the same 'Fender Rails', that allow for the use of a sissy bar.  The Interstate however, uses a special set of 'Fender Rails' that allow for the trunk to be attached...  I've added the trunk to my Standard, but use Interstate Fender Rails...  I can remove the trunk, but have no sissy bar option.

I fabricated the above from an existing sissy bar bracket and angle iron and had it chromed. You'll note that I had the studs on the fender struts cut off and had the struts tapped to accept bolts to make removal of the trunk or back rest easy without cutting slots in the chrome mounting brackets "ala Big BF".
