For those who might be interested.  Dealer has a bumblebee for $4999.

That's a nice bike, a real mix of added components.  Note pre-2000 seat, but the tank badge is post 2000.  Hard to tell but the tank does not appear to be the one for the Standard, looks larger,  Lots of extras....crash bar is not stock.  440's, upgraded pegs and soooo... much more and more.  Great deal I'd say, but I don't see the "Blue and Yellow" as Bumblebee related.

Looks like this is a nice Valkyrie. I can't believe the price from a dealer. Just these accessories I can see with my bad eyes are worth several thousand, shame he should have sold them seperate Roll Eyes Grips, mirrors, levers, brake/clutch covers, Cobra lightbar, very clean windshield! Fender tips,  after market, or European crash bars, Looks like well maintained wheels or polished? Progressive 440 shocks, tranny covers, swingarm cover, engine hangers (honda),  velocity stacks,Rider Floorboards, tank-bib. Someone cared about this old girl, someone is gonna get a hell of a bike cooldude

Sure looks like a bumblebee to me. Yellow and black.  Says blue/yellow, but that is wrong.

+1 hoser.  Good catch on not a tourer.  IMHO.  Notice the side reflectors on the rear fender?  I do not believe the Tourers had them, because the bags cover them up.

I know, MP, windshield is aftermarket, also.  And a Tourer only has hard bags.  Like you said, the dealer seems to be colorblind.  Blue and yellow?  Don't think I would like that.  Still a good buy, though. Hoser

This here is a tourer, lots of mods, though.

The bumblebee isn't a 98 color and shouldn't the side covers be black? I know in 1997 and 1999 or 2000 you could get that color but the pinstriping was a diff color. Still a great looking bike at a great price!!

It'd be PERFECT for a Michigan Wolverine fan!

Not that I am one.

It is a '98' blue and yellow, did they ever make that color scheme? Possible repaint?

I will try to get over there to check it out tomorrow since I need to visit Harbor Freight on that end of town anyway.

I took a look at this bike this morning.  It IS blue and yellow (same color blue as my bike) with an orange pinstripe (obviously not the original color scheme).  It does have an interstate tank and a tourer windshield (at least it says tourer on the chrome strip).  One of the side covers is held on with a wood screw and the other has a couple of holes in it.  Not a bad paint job but not my favorite color mix.  Good shape overall especially for the price!  I'll stick with mine though.  Grin

The problem with Socialists is they eventually run out of other people's money to spend!

Some people are too stupid to realize how ignorant they are.
