I'd love to make it to Austin, but can't squeeze it in that weekend...  Have fun, be safe, and Janet says, "Don't forget the sunscreen!"   Roll Eyes

I'd have to take the Aggie flag off of my bike to go, so wish you a safe and happy trip to the land of the t-sip.

I seem to remember that Doc goes to the ROT rallies.

Yep, Doc and Dad are leaving about 2pm Thursday and staying til Sunday.  Joe will join us on Friday.  Last hurrah before all hell breaks loose.  Gotta spend 24 hours per week in somebody else's clinic doing all that nasty #$%^^.  Last week everything we did involved gloves and in a Dr's office gloves is never good news!!  Planning on camping somewhere behind Paradise Bar.  Look for an orange/black valk and an orange/gray tent.  The black valk will be there after noon on Friday.  Stop by a say hi!  Going to the Blood, Sweat, & Tears concert on Friday night.  Don't care about Blue Oyster Cult or Bret Michaels.  Taking the portable generator, fans, and LOTS to drink.

Kevin Stowers is wanting to head down for the weekend and wanted to see if anyone else wanted to hook up for the ride down. He was even looking for someone to split a hotel room with. He lost his login info for the board, so contact him @ kevinsgrapevine@yahoo.com.

Favor done! Smiley

Hey FB, If Kevin doesn't have a hotel reservation by now he will be staying in San Marcos or Temple.  He might want to think about a tent and stay on the grounds.  It'll cool off about 4 in the morning to make 3 hours of sleep possible, hehe.  That's all I'm planning on per night.

Hey TexasFireman, It was great to meet you and to see so many valks in a crowd of those other things.  Could not believe all the variations on bikes all together in one place.  Everything from valks to HDs, rockets to motorized ice chests.  I bet Rainmaker would have liked the burnt orange/white valk with the longhorn emblem on the tank.  Weather wasn't bad either.  Did not get real hot til Saturday afternoon.  I heard one estimate of 160,000 people and 40,000 bikes present.  Don't know the accuracy of that estimate.  I do know that there was a lot of folks on the rally grounds.  I'm sure a good time was had by all!!!

You know, it's a damn shame how someone can ruin a perfectly good motorcycle with all that cow worship stuff.......

You are right RM. I don't get the cow worship or the dog worship.  That's just my opinion. I could be wrong. hehe
