so on JimL's suggestion to Joe I checked out his suggestion which was Barren River State Park, I went to their website and this is a beautiful place to ride to and have a late lunch (dinner) at their restaurant...they have a buffet style which is what we were looking for...we should be able to eat at real tables and chairs, with metal knives and forks in an hours time.... we wouldn't be eating until around 2, so if want a snack or something pack it or maybe at a gas stop....time is our enemy here, because the museum closings at 5 pm and its 35 miles from the park....Gary Sweeny from the museum says you can tour the museum in 30-45 minutes...so if we get out of the restaurant 3-3:15 we should be in good shape, he also said the food at this restaurant is outstanding...after that we still have 4 hours of daylight to get back to the hotel which is about 75-85 miles away... cooldude Should be a great day of riding on top of all the interesting things to see along the way...we'll see ya there.
