Wanted to get it done before leaving for Inzane on Saturday some Super Sand today and a little dirt tomorrow good till we get back to Christen it.


Well the end of a good working weekend and my project nearly finished sat down last night and had the first fire with some Makers Mark Mint Julep.

WOW, looks great! Wish I had enough "flat" space left in the yard, I'd be building one. The wife did buy a little "fire pot", that we sit around, but I'd have to cut a couple trees down, to get enough flat space for what you did. I like it!

Since we have a slope, I built this, instead...



Just no way to put a fire pit on it...

Now, that there's funny!! Guess I never thought of it that way...

I did make it strong enough for a huge hot tub on the octagon, should I decide. But I would probably build a gazebo, first.

Still want a fire ring. Since mama bought the small one, they probably spend 75% of the time around that, and ignore the deck!
