My bike started having electrical/computer problems right before the Whiskey Run Ride..... so we had to come in the car.
I have been working on it and have pulled every connection and cleaned it.... Still no: tach, speedo, check engine computer light, oil light......It runs, but I don't know for certain the EFI is working right with the computer not working right.... maybe...hate to burn up the engine running lean..
Loaded it on the trailer and hauled it to the dealer.  They can hook it to the computer and read any errors or faults.... hopefully, and get er fixed without me having to sell the place ta pay for it...... MAN!!!! I HATE  computer/elec problems!!!!!!!

Hey Mark, did ya check all your grounds........

That was what was wrong with a HD my son and I grabbed off of I-80 Wednesday..

He had the same symptoms, only he was running way rich, and afraid to ride it.    The Harley shop said they couldn't get him in till a week from today......

We told the guy we'd haul it to our shop and have a look see.   Lucked out, & fixed it.

He called about 15 minutes ago saying he was in PA for the night and it had run good all day with no problems.    That was good to hear.

I found the ground  on the right side of the motor.

Sometimes you just run in to a brick wall.  Hope it doesn't hurt the wallet too bad.

RJ, I  wouldn't put up with Jess calling you fairies.  Sounds like some kind of hate speech to me.  Evil  sounds like he needs a good old fashioned whuppin.

I belong to a outfit that hands out my name and phone # if they call in for assistance and in my neighborhood.

The outfit is AMA, the sub org is Help-N-Hands.

Son & I get about 9 or 10 calls a year.   If they belong to AMA, we go get em....   99.9% of them are flat tires.........

Well... it seems all the fuses were good.... but one that controls the things that were going wrong was not making a good connection in the fuse block.  I checked all the fuses and cleaned all the connections.  pulled apart about 50 connectors in the fairing and cleaned and re connected....
I have spent a total of about a week working on this.....now I hear that a fuse was not making good contact in the bus...... Hey....
$50 and I'm back on the road....I feel like such a dumb azz........I have a lot of innovative wiring on the bike.... 2 separate power curcuits to the front... bypassing the headlight for the driving lights... Driving lights have their own relay and not running through the light switch... and able to keep them on with the high beams on.plus the curcuits for the heated seat and heated clothes.......and I missed this.... uglystupid2 DOH  At least all the electrical connections are clean.... hopefully good for another 50,000 miles!!!!!  WooHoo
