Well came from Woodstock Ontario this morning hit RAIN an until the in and out of rain all day until the last 2 hours or so beautiful riding on M 25 around the thumb Lake Huron all the time to your right what an awsome lake on the Mcinaw tomorrow.

boy are you going to like M-23...Tawas and Oscoda ...ride up north of Alpena and Rogers City stop at 40 mile lighthouse...then Cheboygen the coast line is beautiful up there ...hardly any traffic....you'll love it....

Robin, where are you? We rode from Birch Run, MI to Mackinaw City today. We rode US 23 along the coastline of Huron too. Going to Mackinaw Island tomorrow.....Sault Ste Marie Wednesday. I'll keep an eye out for you. ......LOL

.....the Island is a great place to explore....but tix to the Ferrys out there are expensive....can you say Monopoly.....you can get discounted Tix online...just a heads up for ya....

Hey Charlie Mac i'm leaving Bay city this morning Tuesday heading for Mackinaw City to spend the night and go up to Sault Ste marie today if possible. Where are you staying tonight?

....you should stay across the bridge in St Ignace.....better rates on hotels...definitely more scenic.....not as commercial...while Sault Ste marie
is nice....Pictured Rocks is VERY scenic....

Thanks Timbr....the hotel gave us discount coupons for the ferry yesterday......we rode to the Soo today. Headed to Bellaire in the morning if the weather is calm.
Thanks for the call tonight Robin. BTW, the Mackinaw Trail is ok. It's straight....right beside I-75 most of the way back to St Ignace....but a good ride.
Keep an eye on Smokinjoe !!
