Fudgie...you need to be in the bios to do that. At start up you enter the bios, but be careful of the changes you do or we won't see you for a while. Your puter will sh*t the bed! Read stuff befor you change and save any settings. I take it your trying to enable a USB port? It's controlled on the MaMaboard. Helps to know a little about the operation of the bios, it can disable your puter if you do the wrong thing. Good luck Brother.....

Control Panel, then system, then hardware, then device manager will bring up a menu listing usbs on my pc. Right clicking on the usb brings up the options of disable and troubleshoot among others. I didn't go any farther from there and I don't know if your pc will be the same. Control Panel is listed on my start menu by the way.

I'm sure you already have but I'll remind you anyway. Try a reboot or two to solve a problem first. I deal with this kind of thing at work ocassionally with pc/plcs and 75% of the time a reboot or two fixes the problem. PC's are the only product in the world we would put up with so many problems on. Can you imagine a car or bike which would sometimes stop for no reason and require you to shut it off, get out and walk around it once then restart?  2funny
