HELP!!!!

I need advise on the proper way to install kuryakyn driving lights on my 98 Tourer. I have the adapter plate and lightbar mounted. I still have the OEM directional lights in place but they must be re-positioned under the lights on the light bar. I also want to incorporate an on/off switch so I can start the bike without the added load of the driving lights. Any advise or leads as to step-by-step I would really appreciate. The lights are 55W and have one wire from each light passing through the bar about 5" length. That is how I bought them.
