Actually, I jam regularly with a guy who was #68 on Rolling Stones list of the top guitarists of all time- Jerry Miller from Moby Grape.  Though I don't agree with much of the list, Jerry deserves his spot.

He lives 2 blocks from me here in Tacoma and we hit the jams frequently.  He's still a phenomenal player. Makes Beulah, his big '62 Gibson L-5 absolutely sing and can play a 20 minute solo without repeating a lick!

Ran across The Grapes a few times in Santa Cruz & played at that club,(can't remember the name) downtown where they were the house band back inna day. Had some wacky times, (from what I can remember!)  laugh crazy2

I used to listen to Jimi till I heard SRV.
Eddie is good but somewhat limited, IMHO.
Never could get into Clapton for some reason.
