You may want to re-think that whole cooking deal with the number of folk's that planning to attend this ride.If you are able to ride I'd ride if it was me....Thats what resturants are for  Wink
I know a couple more that are still a " maybe " to ride with us and with 28 days to go this ride could see 15 to 20 rooms rented with some riders two-up.

Squealy has not found his man-sack yet, but he'll end up coming too I suspect.

Great I'm thinkin' folks will enjoy this ride ....With The Natchez Trace speed limit this will be a chance for folks to " smell the roses " and dig the sights .....I think alot of folks think my rides are all WFO tear the pegs off it's simply not true....We have been known to ride with " spirit " however I don't think we ever cross the line into ridin' " stupid " .I'm lookin' forward to this leisure ride through Mississippi,Alabama and The Great State Of Tennessee  Smiley The picture below was from one of those " spirit " moments  Smiley I was with my regular ridin' crew on this day we have rode thousand's of miles together and all of them are outstanding at the art of motorcycling.

Well, I have not ever ridden with you, but whenever Squealy and I ride with new people, they ALWAYS tell us "You guys ride a lot harder than what I am used to..."  I always warn them about it in the pre-ride safety brief.  They are responsible for their own ride.  If they are falling back... that's fine.  We'll wait somewhere before we turn.

I still say my wife is the bravest rider I know.  She'll let me ride however I want, even with her on the back, and with the exception of her jumping the 1st time I drag pegs every time out, she doesn't offer a squeak about riding too hard.  I would not be NEAR as good a passenger.

I'm hip to that " passenger deal " ....When InZane was at Johnson City , Tennessee we followed Ronnie ( Normandog ) through some of his stompin' grounds he was two up with Carolina Girl on the back....Noway in hell I could have been in her seat that day  Shocked  My wife use to ride with me all the time however since our grand-daughter Presley was born I could count the number of times she has rode with me on one hand.To be honest I prefer to ride alone.

I rode from Indy to South Bend (about 160 miles) on the back of Jabba's Valk when I was going to pickup my Sabre. I had to keep thelling myself, he's not going that fast and he's not ridding that aggresive....  It gave me a different prespective on being a passenger, instead of a rider....

And the surrender of Confederate Forces at Vicksburg on July 4, 1863 was overshadowed by the defeat of the Army of Northern Virginia at the Battle of Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863.  The citizens of Vicksburg refused to celebrate Independence Day until World War II.

Joe, there's another battlefield we could stop at on Sunday, Corinth.

I am working on getting myself pain free.  Had the injections this morning and scheduled for another round in two weeks.  This looks like it will be an awesome ride and I don't want to miss it.

I made another post with the subject " X-Ring " with the same as below ....This was a good way to give this thread a weekend bump back to page one  cooldude

Marty you still need someone to split the rent with on The Natchez Trace Ride ? My friend Paul needs a room-mate ...I've stayed with Paul several times on rides ( I already have someone to split with on this ride)  T-Bird and Thumper from this site have also stayed with Paul. He's a good dude ...Let me know if you still want to split the motel cost.Picture below is Paul on his new to him Valkyrie.

Add me to the list Joe.

Marty

I made another post with the subject " X-Ring " with the same as below ....This was a good way to give this thread a weekend bump back to page one  cooldude

Marty you still need someone to split the rent with on The Natchez Trace Ride ? My friend Paul needs a room-mate ...I've stayed with Paul several times on rides ( I already have someone to split with on this ride)  T-Bird and Thumper from this site have also stayed with Paul. He's a good dude ...Let me know if you still want to split the motel cost.Picture below is Paul on his new to him Valkyrie.

+1

I'd room with Paul anytime, anywhere.

Damn, that's a beautiful Valk, Wimp. cooldude
