A question from the new guy!
I was just curious if there were many Valkyries out there that have many mods. I have heard that there are not many accessories for them.

I have a 45 degree rake on my VTX and I wondered if there was a rake kit for Valkyries or any other mods some of you may have done.

I would like to see some pictures of any if any one has done much to their Valkyrie.

Thanks all!

Mine's modded with a bunch of bolt-on stuff... somethings you can get with a click on the internet,
other things you have to beat the bushes for - that might be what you heard, they quit making
Valkyries in 2003, and a lot of vendors quit making Valkyrie accessories a long time ago...

Check with Smokin Joe, he may know a few things about this topic.

I have carmansix62 in my ebay favorite sellers.  They buy and break down Valks so they often sell the custom parts that are no longer in production.  They are also Valkyrie owners and riders.  And Carman makes custom tooled seats out of saddle leather - incredible work.

Generally check the ebay classifieds once or twice a day to see if there is something I might want to add.  I was lucky enough to put most of the hard to find stuff on my 2000 I/S when it was actually being produced (cb, pod lights, hondaline chrome).  Almost nabbed a pair of kickplates for the saddlebags a year ago at a good price.  Almost.  Missed it by that much.

Find the Valk owners in your area and see what they've done to their Valkyries.  We all share our experiences.

Yep, it is a 97.

I like trikes, they're a good source of final drives  Wink My theory is that people don't go to the trouble
to trike clapped out bikes...

I just cleaned the goop up from the splines of this final-drive-from-a-trike yesterday.

right after I took these pictures, I took the final drive outside and poked out the goop from the
pinion cup holes and jambed a WD40 straw down there and blew them clean...

I got a great deal on the bike with the beetle bags. The previous owner pay for the paint job. I get a lot of compliments on it. Yes it is nice having more than one Valk so if one is on the table for maintenace you still have a Valk to ride. I have three because I want to stay up with Smokinjoe,  you all know you can't hide money.

I modified the L/s mirror yesterday backing outta the garage. Left a mark on the truck and really made me upset.
