Bobbo:

I see you chose to ignore my question:  What do YOU propose to do?  Do you NOT have an answer?

Real easy to throw stones, much harder to propose a solution.

Bobbo, I see your point in regards to how do you tell someone's here legally or not by a visual inspection, but remember this law stipulates that it only comes into effect if a person has already come into contact with police for some OTHER crime being committed.

SB 1070 specifically says “lawful contact”, not arrested or detained for a separate crime.  Since the context of lawful contact isn’t defined in the bill, it can be open to interpretation.

Come on Bobbo.  Stop dodging the question:  What would YOU do?

If you read other posts I’ve made on this subject, you will see my response.

A synopsis is:  Not all problems have easy or practical solutions.  Nothing prevents Arizona police from checking the immigration status of someone if they are arrested for a separate crime.  Witness the tens or hundreds of thousands of illegals now in jail awaiting prosecution and deportation.  Let the feds handle it, since it’s their responsibility.  If this has been a huge problem for over 30 years, why are we just now hearing about it and Arizona taking action?

The fool says in his heart there is no God.

Thanks for reminding me Bob.

This is on all your posts, just noticed it.

Big Al

Opps, sorry, I know that the original post was about Arizona’s illegal immigration prevention program, but when I’m called a “fool” for not believing in god, I kinda get upset…..

I'm sorry but I don't see where anyone specifically pointed a finger at you.......

Maybe you should think about checking that chip that you're carrying around on your shoulder at the door.

You might find that life is easier that way.

Let the feds handle it, since it’s their responsibility.  If this has been a huge problem for over 30 years, why are we just now hearing about it and Arizona taking action?

But the Feds REFUSE to handle it.  THIS IS THE WHOLE FREAKING POINT.

THIS CAN"T BE YELLED ANY LOUDER, OR SCREAMED ANY MORE TIMES.

For some reason this FACT is IGNORED.  WHY?  Don't answer as I don't care anymore.  Dozens of posts here, hundreds of news articles, talkshow hosts and their callers and guests complaining of this lack of action, yet you say "Let the feds handle it"   Cheesy   As my LEGAL immigrant Grandmother would say..."OY Vey"!
