Has anyone here had a serious head to head confrontation with a 110? What were the conditions and what was the outcome. I hope that everyone parted friends....JTL

The reason I asked is that I rode one yesterday evening and was impressed with its power and handling. It also had all the bells & whistles that anyone could ask for and was a comfortable ride. My only complaints were the vibration and noise, even though it had the OEM mufflers on it. To be perfectly honest, neither were objectionable at highway speeds. It was just the stoplight to stoplight ride that bothered me and I will agree that this is just a personal thing. A friend brought it by for my evaluation and I told him just what I have said here. I still haven't a clue whether or not he bought it, but I did appreciate the chance to ride it and was glad to find out for sure that my Valkyrie I/S was a good choice...JTL

I read of a lot of complaints dealing with the heat coming off that engine during hot weather. Owners were saying they couldn't ride it if the temp was over 90.

Didn't ride it, but rode with a fellow (that could ride) on a new 110" CVO thru the twisty mountains (the 4 other Hogs fell well behind). I led these guys on a ride on Skyline Drive and over thru WVa on their way back to Shitcago IL from Rolling Thunder in DC.
My impression on 110" speed was that the better rider and not the bike would determine the outcome.
I was bummed out because one of them had an ace videocam setup and promised to mail me some video from the ride, but I never got it.
