:cooldude:Well I finally can move my right arm after my Right shoulder surgery. 3 rotator cuff tears, one biceps tenodesis, several bone spurs and a ganglion cyst. And the Doctor sad that wasn't all the bad stuff in there. What's a little Arthritis with a boat load of good prescription drugs. I won't be able to ride or work on any Valks for a few more weeks but after that I'm looking forward to pain free riding again. Everybody said to practice using my left arm, I should have listened. There are a lot of things I can't do real well with my left arm (if you know what I mean). Well I have a little white pill I need to take if I can get my arm off this desk and back into this damn sling.
Ghillie, let's get them Texans off their butts and do some riding this fall. Sounds like you have some good ideas coming our way.

Howe, it's great to see you posting... Yea, the bathroom antics prolly got a little tough for a while. I have always wondered what I would do if put into your situation.... but then again, I think about weird things sometimes.. I hope to get to meet you pretty soon... Glad you are on the way back to normal! Now it's time for a ride to Galveston, ride the ferry and meet up with some East siders for some lunch! Hay Jimmyt

I feel your pain, literally I had my left shoulder done yrs ago and it was so bad I've tried, without success, to block it from my memory. Now I've got to get my right shoulder done this coming Thurs and boy I'm dreading it , please tell me yours wasn't too bad and recovery has been quick.. This Dr seems a lot smarter than the last one so I'm hoping for a better recovery. Glad to hear your getting there. How long has it been since your surgery??

Oldman, I had it done Aug. 2nd. Had my left one done 15 years ago. The whole procedure is a lot better now. Lots of advancements in authoscoop surgery. I used Dr. Conway in Fort Worth both times. He worked for the Texas Rangers Years ago and has people come in from all over the globe for him to work on their shoulders. About 2 more weeks of rehab and wll be good to go. WATZUP L.L. Good to hear from you.

Well Jet, give us an update on how your recovery is going, tomorrow will make seven days for me and I could use a little uplifting news right about now. How long are you stuck in the sling? My dr says six weeks which means I'm just getting started, but you should be getting close to freedom by now..Anyway hope your doing good and will be back in the saddle before long, good luck ..

Glad you're on the mend. That should let you hang on tight as you continue to pump up the HP on the valk.

Well Oldman, I am still in a lot of pain but the rehab is going good. I have been 3 weeks and my range of motion is very good. This Bicep Tenodesis has been no fun. It is what is going to take a little longer. I cannot lift anything over 5 lbs for a few more weeks. I’m out of the sling except for sleeping and if I’m out walking for a while. But for the most part around the house I don't us it. I still have about 4 more weeks of rehab. I'm really ready to start working on a few Valks but its still going to be a few weeks. I have a Valk coming in from North Carolina for a complete Compression Rato Change and full Cyl Head work over and I just hope in 3 weeks I can do it. At least I picked a good time to be out of the heat, these last few weeks have been brutal.
FB we need pictures of the new ride!

Fortunately, most things I lift only weigh 12 oz.....

I'm a progressive lifter.....I start at 12oz and progressively work my way down to an empty can (or bottle)....then I repeat!
