I never eat raw eggs anyway.

I thought salmonella was always a threat with eggs? All ya gotta do is cook 'em.

If the whites are cooked salmonella is gone.

Ah well.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

How do the eggs get contaminated? They are inside a shell.  ???

I heard on the news last night that it's in the chicken's ovaries.

When I grew up we raised chickens and never worried about salmonella. But then we didn't have 10,000 chickens stacked in cages 20 tall crapping all over each other. Ours ran loose in the pen and had individual nesting boxes.
We had chickens, horses, hogs, goats, and a few other varmints the old man took a shine to. I hated taking care of of them when I was a kid. Funny how good those memories are now.
