The base’s public-address system is the simplest way to call troops----just shout out the soldier’s last names, tell them where they’re  needed, and they’ll hustle right over.        But there was some head-turning the day I summoned these two privates to assist the chaplain:  “Pope, Paul, please report to the orderly room.”
