I used this one with great success...

I helped Stanley Steamer replace his vacuum lines, that we pretty easy (easier than de-smogging)...
de-smogging doesn't buy you anything other than less clutter...

My Valk is a 99 standard and I figure it is time to change some hoses so I thought I might as well desmog.

I've only done two.
I recommend the redeyecrater desmog kit.
The newest is called "shiny" and comes complete with all you need (instructions too).
No connection, just satisfied with what I got from him.
