Liiking for a new Unit and HDL says HONDA has them on back order till 2-11.  WHAT THE %#@??? I placed an order back in July.  Does anyone know where I can get a new unit from ??    tickedoff

yep!  Me too!

Same thing, I ordered it this past June and still it is on back order.

You can order a Goldwing u-joint and they are the same thing. I didn't bother, figure the same with them.

Luckily mine is still in good shape, at least I hope it is. Probably got 20k miles on this new one.

I just wanted to replace the u-joint along with the newly rebuilt rear end and do the whole drive line.

Guess that wont happen now.

DAMN, I would hope so. If not , I`m in trouble.  How can you wear out a U-JOINT in less mileage ???

I got mine from cheapcycleparts.com begining of July.But I don't know if they have any left.

Try calling a trike shop. When they build a 1500 wing, they save the U joint. It isn't used in the trike kit. I installed a low mileage U joint in a friend's Valk nearly 2 years ago and he's had no problems. If you want to contact my local trike shop, they would ship one out for you.
