ebay seems to have a ton of clutch slave cylinders but little or no master cylinders

any idea why that would be?

master cylinders (brake also)get pitted along the top edge and look nasty. A lot of folks change them out for that reason.
I had two (brake and clutch) I sold from a Valk I parted out and could have found a home for 15 I bet.
You really have to look to see the slave cyl. so if it isn't "pretty" no one knows.
