My old man was a railroader for 35 years.  I have seen stull like that before... but what I have NOT seen before was the concrete ties.  That's new to me.

Not sure where the filmed activities are located but, I saw concrete ties being set 30 years ago in KS.  The track between Cassidy and El Dorado had thousands of them.  I was told back then that they were experimental.  Guess it worked out.   :)

I've seen them in the UK and in TX.  On my last train trip to San Antonio I was told that they were necessary for the conversion to high speed rail service.
