Battery Powered Valk????????

Judy and I are vacationing down on L.B.I. this week. Across the street there are two young brothers (maybe 8 or 9 years old) that have been riding around on a battery operated bike. They have stopped by our driveway several times to comment about the Valk. "Nice bike"..."how fast does it go?"....."where you going now?".....

Today I was disconnecting the intercom wires after we traveled the length of the island and the one young lads asked me, "Are you charging it?"

I had to laugh as I'm sure it looked like the charger cable for his bike.

Future Valk riders???? Maybe!!

When are ya headin home? I will be heading to OC on Friday...might try to grab a ride on Saturday morning....

Leaving the island Saturday morning around 11:00 A.M. (Parkway north...exciting ride, huh?)

Parkway North on a Saturday? YIKES!!!

I am not sure if I'll be on the valk, depends what Earl is doin Firday afternoon along the coast...don't want to be riding into OC when it is under water...rain is one thing, salty water is something completely different.

Where is your final destination?

Home, in Sussex County, NJ.....very northwest corner of the state. Each year I ride the parkway south on Saturday to get here.....and parkway north on Saturday to get home......worth it to have the Valk down here, though...
