I loved that bike as much as I loved my 7 Hondas.

The frame was bent, a new is 2K. Got almost 2 full pages of part listings from the dealer. It would cost about 14K to fix it.

Now have to wait and see what my insurance company will do.

Not the news I wanted to hear but after seeing it when my brother-in-law stopped before
he took it to the shop, I pretty much knew it would be totalled.

Crap.

That be a bummer.

Motorcycles can always be replaced if need be.

If nothing else, find another one, same year and model as what ya had.

I had an accident in West Virginia on 8/2.  I blacked out and went off the road.  Doc's have not
been able to tell me why.

I have a broken left wrist, 2 cracked vertabre in my neck, so in a neck collar for 3 months, dislocated middle and ring finger on my right hand and will need rotator cuff surgery on right shoulder when my neck heals.  I am pretty lucky is was not worse.  My guardian angel was with me that day.

Good to see you back in town for a while.

Popeye,
I have very clean Black Cherry 06 Ultra for sale. Probably could make you a good deal. Only reason that it is for sale, is that I prefer a Valkyrie over HD. Picture on CycleTrader.com.

What a bummer!  OTOH, not being badly injured is the good side of the coin.

Thanks for the offer.  I'm in no shape to ride at the moment.  I think I am still going to ride when
I'm healed up but not sure.  My wife is not sure she wants me back on 2 wheels but she said she
wants me to be happy.  On the days when I'm in alot of pain, I think I might be done. On the days
I'm feeling OK, I can't wait to get back on.
