Because most people don't bother (or don't know about price matching) and pay full price. 

They are in business for a profit.

I have asked them for price matching many times, and they are always happy to comply.... have your link to the other guy's price and shipping ready (only takes a few minutes).  I usually prefer to go with HDL with price matching because I have done business with them for so long, and some of the cheaper prices you find are with unknown website sellers.
