Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Man, tomorrow is going to be soooo cool for me on the ride up to Natchez.  You know how you meet people and it just clicks?  People you are proud to call a brother and a sister?  Well, Hotglue and Flamingobabe are two of those people.  I love to share the wind with them, tell a yarn or perhaps a lie or two and just enjoy their company - every minute is special to me.  I have nothing but the highest regards for those two Texicans over yonder.  Well, tomorrow I am going to get to share the wind with Flamingobabe and get to see that sweet Spyder of hers.  Man, I am so pumped!!!!!  I mean, this is going to be sooooo cool!

Well, got the bike rewired from the electrical issue I had on the way back from Rangers yesterday and this morning Red tells me...."You have a huge gas leak on that bike of yours!  I can smell it in the kitchen and am afraid to light the stove!"  Sure enough, there was gas leaking pretty bad around the petcock area.  I had just rebuilt the petcock about a year ago with Hard6 so I didn't think it was the diaphragm.

Tore into the bike and rebuilt what I could around the petcock and put new JBWeld around the outside of the petcock.  Got high on the fumes from the gas that I siphoned out of the tank.

I think the leak was actually from the connection where the petcock assembly connects to the tank.  Got everything cleaned up and reassembled and no more leakage!  Whoooo-Hoooo!  As long as I was working on her, I had got some weatherstip glue/sealant that I put on the left bag because the seal kept coming off everytime I opened the lid.

Called Flamingobabe to make sure where she wanted to meet and we had traded cell numbers.  All that was left was to wash Traveler and charge up the iPod.  A quick wash and a blow down with the leaf blower and Traveler is ready to prance!

To tomorrow I am going to get to share the wind with a very dear friend.  Man, this is muento muleabo - most cool!  I can't wait, can't wait, can't wait......Natchez here we come!  We should be able to dig on some nice roads and the weather shouldn't be any better than predicted....Great weather and sharing it with a great friend....LIFE JUST DON'T GET NO BETTER YA'LL!!!!!

A large time is going to be passed - and that is JUST GETTING THERE!  WHOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!

FB, see ya tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Safe winds getting here from Texas!!!!! cooldude cooldude cooldude cooldude  I am so excited and I just can't hide it........

How odd -- my girl is sitting at Dr. BigBFs right now --- for the very same reason!  Garage smelled so bad I didn't even want Kendall opening the door between the house and the garage!  Finally found the leak (wasn't obvious just stunk like hell) --- Kendall found the leak around the petcock.

She's up at Bills' now --- can't rebuild it so he had to order parts --- you know how that goes --- takes forever to get parts out here in this ol' damn hot desert!  Then to boot I got the bad news it's time to replace tires --- CHA-CHING!!

Oh well she'll be all safe & sound and ready to roll come October  cooldude

It's been a long year --- no vacation/time off and man am I ready!

**get a little break this weekend**  Kendall and I are both off next 4 days --- going to try and hit White Mountains and spends some time cruisin around up north ---- sure am ready for this damn heat to be gone and cooler weather so I can ride baby ride!   Cheesy

Have a great time this weekend --- be safe brother --- Love ya
