As long as I am alive and Joe and Britman and Stanley and Lucky 13 and Willow, Motomama, and Srider

and Frog and STrong Eagle who never rides with us, and 1000 others are around.

The VRCC will thrive.

Come to the Fall Color Ride in the North Carolina Mountains and you will see it is going to be around

for a long time.

I will pay for your room and treat you too what ever you like beer, wine or whiskey or wild woman

if you just show up. You opinion will change and you will start having a good time.

That was a Official Invitation

by the way , not empty talk.

Bring a few friends we will bend over backwards to make you feel at home.

Safe winds Brother

Big Al here if you need me.

No far from it, down in the south we are very hospitable and will help just about anybody.

We come from poor families and sometimes favors are all we have to give .

That permeates the whole south and we are good people besides.

Bobbo is welcome as are the rest that would come on down here.

I need to do that fall color ride with ya. I havent ever gone and damn.. it is in my back yard so to speak.  If I come, I only require one promise... keep me near a gas station every 80 to 90 miles Smiley

Or I could bring the Wing... but bringing a Wing to a Valk thang just isnt right.

Son if I have to carry the gas in my saddlebag you will make it.

Joe Smokes every 50 miles and he is riding a tourer and needs gas just as often.

Call the Phillips Hotel that is ground zero, but the other motels are just a block away.

No reason not to come. It is my favorite ride of the year.

You will have a blast guaranteed.

let me guess, there's a weight limit on the wild woman, she has to weigh 500# or more right?

...STrong Eagle who never rides with us...

It's a little tough, Al, to make those rides, when I am 10,000 miles away, on the equator, in Southeast Asia.

And I appreciate the thought.

It's not the Valk.  I just can't hold my breath under 6,000 miles of Pacific Ocean.

Many more Harley's than Valks... only to 10 to 15 on the island.  It's a great place to ride.  It's about 253 square miles total (compared to Houston proper which is 579 square miles and the total area from Galveston/Baytown to the Woodlands is more than 10,000 square miles.

There isn't a street in Singapore that runs in a straight line for more than a few blocks.  It is fun to ride here... more awareness of motorcycles, slower traffic speeds, and tuns of and tuns of curving streets.

Here's a map of the 'rock'.

PS:  Harley guys are the same, only they convert 'petrol' to noise here.

Thanks for the Official Invitation, BIG AL, but like I’ve said before, my other activities limit my ability to get away.  I’ll be in the Great State of Arizona (Chandler) for a conference then.  I’ve been to that area of NC many times, on US 129, and the other roads in that area.  Beautiful country!   cooldude

In case you misunderstood my opinion, it isn’t one of doom and gloom, but rather concern.  If I thought the VRCC was on its last days, and I didn’t care about it, I would simply walk away.   The reason for my post was to bring awareness of patterns I’ve seen before, in an attempt to prevent the same thing from happening here.  Like other clubs, the problem isn’t with the activities and functions, but the bickering and ill will outside of the activities.

Beg to differ, seems to me they were interoffice problems within the ownership. But hey that's your Psychological analogy, real simple fix pass the thread were members are sharing information of interest and just laugh and HIT the BACK button, Freedom of speech is a gift and should not be questioned or suppressed by any means, You want to see a board that is out of control with cussing and swearing my Dakota site is that way, and that cost you 50 bucks year been there for along time, People just like to vent on today's turmoil, and this is a very Adult board, You were Childish When you attacked Pat Roberts and PHD Jay Secular a Constitutional expert for His discovery, Your motive and stance was oblivious at that point to disrespect the Law when it doesn't work for you! You have Know Idea how many of my friends or family members are visiting this board, Just to watch and observe. Your Quote of concern or care is BS you would just Love to SHUT UP THE CONSERVATIVES in your pathetic Left wing approach. Put a Sock In IT!!
