One reason is I went to Wichita for my Grandaughter Emma's first birthday, she's here beside me punching keys as I type this so I apologise in advance for any errors. EMMA and Pappy Skinhead Emma's first Birthday cake You can see from the first picture where she gets her good looks..... (poor kid!)

I can't begin to count the number of beautiful weekends my Valk has sat because of my Grandson. All he has to do is call and say can I spend the night. When he was born and in nicu he and I formed a bond that I hope never ends. I didn't know it was possible for me to love another as much as I do him. Because he has cerebral palsy he faces challenges that most of us do not. Sometimes Motorcycle rides just aren't very important.

Thank you all, This was definately where I wanted to be. Sharing the good weather and good times with all of you ran a close second.
My only regret is that we live 1000 miles apart, I wish I could spend more time with her, she is growing like a weed!

Because he has cerebral palsy he faces challenges that most of us do not. Sometimes Motorcycle rides just aren't very important. I can fully understand. As much as we all like riding, it really does take up alot of time that could have been spent with our loved ones. My wife doesn't like to ride much, but we're working on her, and I bought my second Valk so my youngest son could use it to go on some rides with my VRCC buds. Unfortunately, he's at a piont in his life that he can't get away as often as he'd like. Your a good man and have your priorities in order, I hope you can someday combine your 2 passions and share the rides with your grandson. I hope his condition doesn't preclude that from happening. My grandparents were well into old age and all passed away when I was young. There is an old family photograph of my father's father (died when my dad was 16) of him and my grandma on an old Indian. I sure would have liked to be able to go riding with him. God bless you and yours.
