Thanks, Steve.

Depending upon my mother in-law's health that weekend, we may be able to make it. It'll also give us a chance to ride over to our old home town of Jasper on Sunday and see how much has changed since we left there in 1997. It'll be a last minute decision for us, unfortunately.

Thanks, Brian. Will do, though, I don't think we'll be able to leave Ft. Wayne until late afternoon that Friday. We'll see how it goes. I'll definitely let you know if we can join up with you for the ride down.

Hey Rainmain, you going into Hawesville, KY, just to go? or is there a stop there?  If you are planning on going to the Riverview in Hawesville, it's CLOSED and as far as I know they have no plans to reopen any time soon....  BTW- I have family in Hawesville and I spend quite abit of time there....

Probley count me in for this ride....  I'll ride down to Corydon on Saturday morning and either ride to my place in Hawesville Saturday evening or back Home (about 2 hours north)....

I keep thinking that French Lick would be a good place to have it.  Lots of hotels and great roads.

We have 40 acres and a cabin in shoals.  We could offer camping, and night time bon-fire and whatever.  We even have a flush crapper, and shower there... although only a 40 gal electric water heater.  It's only about 20-25 minutes from French Lick.

Jabba, come on down for the ride and let's talk about it. French Lick is a nice spot. I just was to get something going so we don't miss it next year. I'm willing to help get it back going.

Is anyone staying over Saturday night after the ride? (Pool party, anyone?) We'll probably go to Jasper after the ride and stay there for the night. As mentioned earlier, we used to live in Jasper and plan to see how/if it has changed over the years.

Well hell, I was plan on staying Sat night to.  Undecided Didn't want to hit it to hard the night before the ride.  Wink I guess I'll see what Po & Painter are doing and if they make it. If they are staying, so will we. Kit hasn't seen them in a year. It'll be nice to set and chat over a case of PBR.  cooldude

the ride ends at bridseye.  If you are going back to the motel in corydon you are 42 miles away.  you will need to take hwy 64 east to 135 south and then to the motel. wish I could return back but I have family comment's on sun. that I can't get out of.
