I don't care for extremely loud harleys (or most other bikes) however I don't care for more useless laws even more.

The article from the newspaper didn't mention Harleys, just motorcycles in general.  You decided that it must have been Harleys.  Why didn't you mention sport bikes or 6 into 6 pipes?  They are just as loud.

Well, my experience has been that of the LOUD bikes I hear, really loud, not just a little loud, AT LEAST 90% of them are Harleys.  Your experience may differ.

Mc Rider, read it again buddy, Harley's are mentioned.

Aery's wish for peace and quiet could come true after the state Senate passed a bill this month that would make it a motor vehicle violation to ride a roaring hog.

If we as a motorcycle community do not self regulate, we will be regulated. It's getting rediculous how loud motorcycles are today, all brands. It's one thing to have some sound, but scaring small children and stopping all conversation while you roar past is uncalled for. This may just be my opinion, but I guarantee, it's a growing one among the non-motorcycling crowd.
